To win a holiday on the Isle of Wight worth up to £1000, all you need to do is book a holiday online with us between March 8th - September 30th and then tell us in 100 words why you chose to holiday on the Isle of Wight. Simple as that!

You will be emailed details of how to enter when your booking is confirmed.

Terms and Conditions
1. The competition will run on www.island-holiday-homes.net website up to 30th September 2010.
2. Closing date for entries is midnight on 30th September 2010.
3. Unless otherwise stated, the competition is open to all those aged 18 or over, except employees of HRD Lettings Ltd trading as Island Holiday Homes (“IHH”), Hose Rhodes Dickson and their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their families, agents, or anyone connected with this competition, including any third party promotional partners.
4. Entry is limited to one per holiday party per booking. The winner is responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out and in accordance with these terms and conditions, in the event they are unable to do so then the IHH reserves the right to redraw the prize.
5. Entry is subject to booking self catering accommodation only through IHH with a minimum booking value of £300 before 30th September 2010 and to pay for and stay in the booked accommodation before 30th September 2010. Any entries that relate to any cancelled bookings will not be valid. Entrants should be aware that they may be subject to call charges depending on their own individual arrangements for Internet access.
6. An eligible entrant must be an individual and must submit an entry in the form provided by IHH under this promotion including their name, address and e-mail address.
7. By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by each and all these terms and conditions. IHH reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. IHH reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any amendments will be published on the Website.
8. There is one prize. Entries will be judged following the close of the competition. The winner will be notified by email within twenty eight (28) days from the closing date. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner during this time. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, IHH reserves the right to re-judge the entries from the entries which were received before the closing date.
9. The prize consists of self catering accommodation selected by the winner from the available register of properties under the management of IHH and return car ferry travel on the Wightlink service from either Portsmouth or Lymington to the Isle of Wight with a combined value of £1000.00 (one thousand pounds). The winner and their party if any are responsible for travel to the mainland ferry port, travel insurance, any and all necessary health requirements, any incidental expenses incurred at the accommodation including food, drink and spending money and any tax liability accruing as a result of winning this competition.
10. The prize holiday must be completed by 30th September 2011.
11. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions. 
12. Prize cannot be taken in conjunction with any other special offers and is subject to availability, non-transferable with no cash alternative.
13. The prize provider and any promoter cannot be held responsible for unforeseen cancellations of ferry services or bookings. It is the winners responsibility to be present at the appointed times and places, or they will forfeit their prize.
14 . The winner may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
15 . The judge's decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.

17. IHH will not be liable for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant's ability to participate in the competition. Other than death or personal injury arising from the acts or omissions of IHH, or their employees, IHH will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winner or their party’s enjoyment of the prize
18. By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by IHH or any associated or subsidiary company of HRD Lettings Ltd.
19. Uses of personal data received by IHH in the course of the promotion are subject to the privacy policy found on the Website. Winners' names may be published on the Website.
20. Completion and submission of entry or e-mail will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
21. IHH reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes) if, in their sole discretion, a competition is not capable for being conducted as specified. IHH reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event that circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.
23. For the name of the winner, please send a stamped envelope to Island Holiday Homes, 37 Regent Street, Shanklin, Isle of Wight, PO37 7AF advising that you would like winner’s name.
